Tom,
Thank you
Daniel
Hello Tom,
I deactivated the following WordPress Plugins from my site:
– AMP, by AMP Project Contribution;
– CloudFlare Super Page Cache plugin, by Optimize;
– Buttons to Edit Next/Previous Post, by aftabi Muni;
– P3 (Pluggin Performance Profiler), by GoDaddy.com.After deactivating AMP, MMM seemed to work correctly, but I used the opportunity to identify pluggins no longer needed for my site to run as I wished.
I also deleted 15 other plugins that were already inactive, but that were no longer essential for the operation or maintenance of my web site.
It is only after doing all of this that I tested if MMM worked on my site in various browsers from PC, on Samsun Galaxy S7 mobile phone, and on Galaxy tab S3 Tablet. MMM does not seem dead anymore, as it did when I started this thread.
This however brought my results down on PageSpeed Insights, but I guess this should be the object of another thread, and the present one can be closed.
To conclude, thank you for your input, it has helped me look where I needed to.
Daniel

Thank you @megamenu for responding.
My AMP plugin was indeed set to Standard.
I just changed it a second ago to Transitional.

In reply to: [Cloudflare] Can Cloudflare work without it’s plugin on WordPress?I just want to say thank you to the person asking this question and to the person who responded. I too tend to go to CloudFlare when I need to do anything related to my CDN. I wrongly believed that the plugin was necessary on my wordpress site for the CDN to operate properly. I realize I was wrong, which is a great relief, because the plugin stopped showing any data a while back. So I don’t need to worry about this any more.

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang doesnt translate string in themeLoco Translate might help you do what you can’t with Polylang only.
This WordPress plugin provided me with a very easy way to access strings that were not displayed uner Polylang’s Strings translation tab. It was easier to search and find untranslated strings within the .po files that using an unpaying version of poedit.
Translating strings and converting .po into .mo files was also very easy with Loco.

In reply to: WordPress 4.4 Background Music of Presentation Video too LoudYou are right,
I really love the tune that is being playing in the video !
However it is a bit difficult at times to follow the background voice that is trying to present key aspects of this new wp and theme release ?? ?? ??

In reply to: Polylang Language Switcher Menu as SubmenuThere is a checkbox that allows to position language switcher items at the end of the menu. It seems that this is the way you implemented Polylang on your site.
However, you may also activate menu switcher through a widget. Depending on your theme, this might allow you to insert the language switcher beside your social icons.
Thank you Jeremy !
Google’s Page Speed insights helped me identifying issues that needed to be corrected, and contributed to fix some of the major issues.
You helped me realize that aiming for a perfect score could become a problem in itself.

In reply to: [Loco Translate] Extremely Helpful and easy to use !My site is trilingual (French, English, Spanish). Loco Translate made it easy for me to find and translate the few strings that showed up in English rather than in French or Spanish in newly installed Twenty-Sixteen theme, as I was trying-out WordPress 4.4 beta 4.

In reply to: [Loco Translate] Extremely Helpful and easy to use !ERRATA WITH MY PREVIOUS POST.
I meant to write “WordPress 4.4 beta 4” (not WordPress 4.1).
Sorry for any misundertstanding brought about by this typo.
I woul replace the posting by a corrected version, if I could…

In reply to: [WordPress Beta Tester] Doesn't update to 4.2 RCThe WordPress Beta Tester plugin allowed me to upgrade to WP 4.1 Beta 4 after I did a fresh install of WordPress in a new testing environment.
With my more elaborate testing environment, this plugin still does not provide a means to upgrade from WP 3.3.1 to WP 4.1 beta 4.
After further testing based on a fresh WordPress 4.3.1 install, I realize the problem is not with JetPack but probably with WordPress core files.
These tests were made with the Twenty-Fifteen and Mobile-First themes. The WP install was plain default English with no translation files.
In both tests, Google’s Page Speed Insight reports for Mobile devices led to the same two jquery-related messages I reported in my preceding post.
Does anyone know why there are Mobile Device issues reported by Google when using up-to-date mobile ready versions of WordPress and themes?

In reply to: [WordPress Beta Tester] Doesn't update to 4.2 RCHello,
I have the very same problem as jorgeorpinel reported six months ago, except that I am trying to test WordPress 4.4 with Twenty-Sixteen theme.
Any advice about how to install beta release anyone, in my case, for WP 4.4?

In reply to: jquery.min.js (Google CDN) & jquery-migrate.min.js in footerHello mdev,
Could you please provide the full path concerning the credit to your response. Where exactly can it be found at https://github.com/roots/sage ?
I’m trying to resolve a conflict between /jquery.js?ver=1.11.3 and jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.2.1 reported by https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.savoiretcroire.ca for my site. I was hoping that reading your source in its context might somehow help me move toward a solution.
Thank you
