I have no idea what that means. In my reality, an edit is an edit, whether I do it or a search and replace. But I guess not in this case. Oh well, I will try a different approach. Thank you for responding.

The odd thing is that it actually makes the changes, I can see the changes/edits being done. Then I click save and all good. But when I exit and enter the table again, it is not saved. When I edit manually the exact same things, it is indeed saved.

So why doesn’t the table save the changes just because I used a search and replace? It’s such odd behavior.

Hi Tobias, thanks for the answer. However, the problem is that it’s not just limited to one single extension. I don’t get it to work with any search replace extension. Hence, wouldn’t it be a good idea to have an in built such feature?

Not really blaming anything. It makes sense to come here if you think plugin has stopped tracking. It has indeed happened on several occasions before, even with the old Google Analytics.

Ok, but this is very hard to get used to and it also seems a bit inconsistent. I’ve been checking every day and not seen this behavior in recent times. Maybe it depends when, during the day, I have been checking. Very confusing.

They should just bring back the old analytics *sigh*.

The 621 is besides the point. The point is that it completely stopped tracking data from the day before. I see a large dip from 3 pm and then nothing has been tracked. I don’t typically see this even though I check every day.

I had to clear authorization and do the whole procedure for it to start tracking again it seems.

@salihkn did you manage to solve it? I have been waiting for weeks for Yoast to solve this now but it seems they can’t be arsed. It shouldn’t be that hard for them to figure it out since the issue happened going from 20.8 to 20.9.

I tried deactivating all plugins but it doesn’t solve the issue, so it seems it’s something more fundamental than that. I know a lot of people are having the same issue but gave up and started using other plugins instead.

So, to let everyone know. Buying the pro version and choosing relevance made absolutely no difference to me. It doesn’t give you the relevant results. Typing “Wild XX” will only focus on the word “Wild” basically and thus leaving out the most relevant results containing “XX”.

I will move on to use Algolia or Elastic Search instead.

Still not resolved. Support is pretty slow.

That’s pretty disappointing considering there are privacy laws etc. So how am I supposed to share this information? Sorry, but you guys don’t seem very motivated to fix this issue at all. It’s been a really long time now since Yoast stopped working properly for many of us.
