Hi @frontiers,
We are rolling back the changes in 3.8.1 until we can resolve the block issue.
Thanks for reporting this.
Thank you for the help debugging this @guido07111975. I’ve now pushed a fix so the error should no longer be shown for Fonts Plugin.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Thanks again!
Hi @athan23690,
Did you resolve this?
Hi @faiten,
That’s a great question, thanks for asking it.
All resources (images, video, fonts, scripts) will add some loading time to the page, especially if they are hosted externally (on Google’s servers for example).
I’ve briefly explained how to optimize fonts here – https://fontsplugin.com/speed-up-wordpress/#_optimize_font_performance_
DM Sans and Inter are both great choices. But they include the full range of font variations, from Thin (100) to Black (900). if you are not using all those variations, it can be an unnecessary weight on your page. That’s why in the Pro version we have selective font loading – https://docs.fontsplugin.com/optimization/font-loading
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Thanks
Hi @jaydenreeves,
I think this is caused by the Stackable plugin, I’ve just released an update (1.6.6) that should fix that.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Thanks
Hi @rwahmao,
It looks like the MailOptin plugin is loading those fonts via webfont.js. We will investigate this further and look for a fix we can integrate into this plugin.
Thanks for the report!
Thanks @darrenbowyer, we’ve now added code to remove the fonts from the Groovy Menu plugin, so you can continue using the menu plugin (without the Google Fonts references).

Hi @stefanovarano,
It looks like you are using caching/optimization plugins. Please try clearing the cache of those and the fonts should be gone.
Let me know if I can help with anything else.
Thanks
Hi @greentp,

Hi @jeroenrotty,
Would showing the latest update in the changelog and linking to github for the archive of past changelogs solve this issue?
I’ll keep this in consideration.
Thanks!

Hi @carlogava,
I’ve inspected the MemberPress plugin. Is it the course pages that look like this that you are referring to? https://share.cleanshot.com/VHHv3f0W
