In reply to: Custom Menu@matt Knowles Thank you very much for the help. I installed ShiftNav and it looks great. I just need to tweak it and get it functioning in the way I want it to. I’m gonna play around with breakpoints for a while and see what I come up with. I really appreciate appreciate all the advice. I’m gonna get into the child theme thing also in order to set up a dev playground. Thank you again Matt I owe you one.

Forum: Plugins
In reply to: I can't see my installed pluginsHi nicvin,
Are you looking in the “plugins” tab of your dashboard? There you should be able to click on “installed plugins” where you can manage the plugins you have installed. That should bring up a list that has all of the plugins you installed and just under the name of each plugin you should see the option to activate them or deactivate them. If you deactivate one it stays installed should you decide to re-activate it later. Hope that helped.-Danny

In reply to: [Zinnia] Top Menu Disappeared on iPhone@huatuostudio I noticed that on your site you have new menu. Are you still using Zinnia? I have the Zinnia theme and I find the mobile menu to be a little confusing to my visitors. I would love to replace it with something like what you have now. How did you change it?
@thejelis I visited your site also and I have the same mobile menu as you. I have been researching on how to replace this with a plugin because most people don’t even know its there and I’d like to replace it with a responsive menu that internet users today are more familiar with. I don’t really have the development skills to fully customize it so I am looking for an alternative solution, before I breakdown and try to fully customize it myself and potentially create a mess of code that I don’t fully understand.

In reply to: Filezilla FTP & WordPresskdaly,
I have the the latest version of wordpress on my local drive. The problem I have is that when I make changes locally then try to send them up with the FTP the changes are not reflected on the live site. I’m starting to think that maybe the FTP just is not set up right. It says that it is connected and that the files have been transferred successfully but its not making the change on the server.

In reply to: Filezilla FTP & WordPressRoss,
Thanks for the reply. I had a an old version of my WordPress site in a local folder before and thats where I would make all of the changes to the CSS and what not, then I would send that up to my site on the server through the FTP (filezilla) so I’m just a bit confused as to how I will make changes to my site which is already live at this point if I don’t have a local copy of my WordPress site that I can modify in a text editor and send to the server via the Firezilla.
