Sending pictures from cellphones via MMS becomes more and more popular.
I wanted my install of WP as basic as possible to make upgrading and easy task. but i guess i have to use third-party software to get this feature to work.

If they dont give a sh-t they should remove the feature all along since it produces more problems than happy users a.t.m

always download your current wordpress first. save it somewhere safe.

this is how i upgraded from 2.3.0 to 2.3.1:
download, unpack, uploaded every file owerwriting the ones on server. DONE.

Note that this is not how its recommended and it all depends on how much changes youve done to themes included in the releases. but since i use a third-party theme and not alot of plugins this hardcore upgrade works just fine.

chmod -R 777 wp-content

Upgrade to 2.3.1 doesnt help.

Would be nice if someone actually cared about this, 8 months is a long time to fix this?

I’d like to post pictures from my cellphone, so i want this to work, any ideas?

I have the same issue with WP 2.3

I want this to work without any thirdparty software, it is a quite simple feature.
