Ok! Then I guess it is working fine for new posts.

To send an email for a post that are updated you must manually mark that option by checking “Resend post to subscribers” (in the publish panel).

That goes for every post that is updated. So only by updating a post is not enough to send an email, “Resend post to subscribers” checkbox need to be checked. And to be able to have that option you need to check your settings for STC, “Enable resend post option”.

I think you already know this since it has worked before for you, but just to be sure.

Well the subscribers are stored as a custom post type so how that can end up in your post feed is really strange.

Does it shows up in the posts in wp-admin as well?
Have you tried to switch to a wordpress theme, for example twentyfifteen?
Which theme are you using?

Yes. Right now there is no support for custom post type and custom taxonomies. It’s a nice feature though so I hope to have a solution pretty soon.

I am about to update the plugin and I have recently tested the plugin for both network and a single site for wp 4.5.3 and it is working fine for me.

Is your issue only for posts that are being updated?

Hi, yes i have been thinking about that for a while, you should be able to change or set your own interval for the cron schedule. It will come in a future release but i cannot promise when.

Yes that′s probably because the scheduled event has already been fired (once an hour).

If you create a new post and then directly check the sections setting there should be a notice that there are emails waiting to be sent.

Hi, I am not sure what you mean with WP post categories.

The plugin use the WP standard post categories attached to a post. So the user should get an email notice for a post created in a category they have subscribed to.

There is no custom taxonomy created by STC plugin.
