I am afraid the free version doesn’t allow bespoke colors via the customizer. If you are familiar with css and browser dev tools the best thing to do is highlight the areas you want to change and add some css in a child theme or custom css area.

the in built slider is set to work with posts only. If you want it to link to pages or anything else I would suggest using another slider plugin.

you can pick from a selection of fonts by going to admin > customize > typography

To add a map into the homepage you will have to add your map code or shortcode in the custom_home.php template file.

this looks to be a problem with your WordPress set up rather than the theme. Can you install the plugins the normal way?
