I am sorry but what I mean is when you click on any link, eg “Bio”, my onepagewebsite page comes up. This is true if I click on any of the links in the new site.

In Settings I have WordPress and Website address listed as: https://onepagewebsite.org/dwp

I found where I could remove the text for both the tagline and the title. Sorry about the confusion. I am now trying to figure out how to replace the Vantage (free) menu bar with my own menu using images.

Problem resolved: I forgot to logout from the Admin page

One of the error messages I get when trying to access my site – https://www.onepagewebsite.org/leecharduo/wordpress – is
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/d/b/s/dbsuploader/html/leecharduo/wordpress/wp-config.php on line 1

I have been trying unsuccessfully to upload a WordPress site on my localhost to GoDaddy. After talking with GoDaddy support, I used their automatic install of WordPress and now have it installed inside of “mysite/wordpress.” Next step is to upload my MySQL database to GoDaddy but I am confused about the process of doing same. Some instructions say that I first must deactivate any plugins or themes in my localhost site. Then I would go to the Host Panel in GoDaddy and go through the import routine of this altered database, followed by an edit of my wp-config.php file created during my WordPress installation. I am so gunshy after days of failure that I need some assurance as to what I described above is in fact what I need to do.

I am trying to follow exactly the “Head First WordPress” book I just purchased and may have missed some detail. I think my best bet is to redo the example from the start and pay closer attention to detail in the book. Also, I don’t know where to find the .htaccess file and what to look for in it.

What I have now in my acme blod is the twenty ten header image and also no footer.

Thanks for the input. That took care of some of the text on my header but I still have some links on this header that I would love to remove.
