still not working..

i am not on a windows hosting.. and i have php 5.2.14.. so i don’t think this is the problem..

i don’t know what to do next.. it drives me crazy cause there is not solution..

what can i do.. i don’t understand..

um.. i tried this: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ but it didn’t work, also all you have sent me didn’t help cause it ain’t my specific problem..

is there a way to overide somehow the mail() function and use something else?

i don’t know what to do.. godaddy told me they can’t help me because it’s a problem with wordpress..

but i got to the wp_login.php file and i tested something,

when i deleted this:

wp_die( __(‘The e-mail could not be sent.’) . “
\n” . __(‘Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…’) );

it said that the email is sent- it doesn’t help much because it doesn’t sent me an email but that function may be the problem..

they told me this:

I have also included information on how to review the PHP options that are available through your hosting account at the end of this email.

i don’t understand why i keep having to return here and then ask them for 3 times now..

the error says that there is a problem with the mail() – that it might be disabled but godaddy says it works..

what can i do?

they told me it is supposed to be active.. so it should work..

i uploded all the files and it didn’t work..

is there no way for me to check if the function mail() is disabled or not? a file that check or something else?

how do i know if the mail() is disabled?

my php version is PHP 5.x (that’s what it says.. i guess the latest- i am on godaddy server)

will the reinstall delete anything?

i got what you said on the first time, but i am asking if there is a plugin that can do that, or a programmer that can do this..

if there is an option to choose catgory in poss, isn’t there a way to do so in pages too?

so is there a way to choose one catgory for each page in the add page section or is there a plugin that does that?
