Hi Kevin, thanks again for the previous information here. One follow-up…I’ve now gotten everything on Apple’s end completed (Workbench, Finance Details, etc) and have enabled Backfill advertising for our Apple News channel. My question now, specifically about the Publish to Apple News plugin, is: What is the default Ad Frequency this plugin uses? You mentioned that the plugin supports ad functionality natively, so I assume our content is equipped to run these ads now that I’ve enabled them o Apple’s end. But I’m curious what frequency the plugin uses as default? The github link (https://github.com/alleyinteractive/apple-news/wiki/themes#advertisement) explains what Ad Frequency is (can set it 1-10), but I’m wondering what the default is? And if I wanted to change it, how do I do so? Any advice? Thank you!

It’s just living in our test environment right now so I don’t have a link that you could actually access. Is there an email I could shoot a screenshot for you to at least see the issue? And then if you had a particular hunch on what might be happening, my dev/engineer team could follow your direction.

Right on, good luck with the testing hopefully it goes smoothly. I’ll await for the update, as my dev team is more comfortable doing that as opposed to making direct WordPress code changes. Thanks Cliff!

Scratch that. I actually had to re-install the plugin for a different reason and after that, the Action Bar color pickers were working properly. Thanks!

Thanks for the response. It appears that when I uncheck “Use Theme’s Default Colors” the color pickers are not showing. And then when I “Save Draft” it’s automatically reverting back to “Use Theme’s Colors”…is there an email I can send you a screenshot? Thanks so much.

Thanks a lot! This looks like a really promising plugin. It’s a shame it doesn’t show in the WordPress Plugin Searches when you search for “popup” or “email popup” or things of that nature. Thanks for the help
