To update my original post. I deactivated The Events Calendar Plugin as well as the Divi Compatibility extension and re-downloaded both (Plugin 5.0.0.1 and Extension 1.2.1) and activated both. All is well now. Sorry to bother you.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Sorry, I was not clear. The PayPal button is set up by going to Settings/WP PayPal Payment. There is only one button setup there and it is called with the shortcode [wp_paypal_payment]. It’s not clear to me how one could set up more than one button if they are all called with the same shortcode that refers to the parameters in a single Settings window. I must be missing something.

I wonder if you might be able to advise me on how to remove the default side bar in the user blog window? We have a separate blog on the site that is populating the side bar, creating a bit of confusion.

Thanks Josie Stauffer and mbsharp for your input. The problem has been eliminated by converting to https:// and cleaning things up, removing all caching, and making sure that the login password for a membership plugin exactly matches that for WP site dashboard access for admin accounts.

That is an interesting approach. It takes the user to the WordPress login. From there I am not able to view the entry form or the rating form. If I log out of WordPress and log in to the site using a membership plugin (e.g. Simple Membership) with the same username and password that I would use to access WordPress as the admin, I cannot access the entry or rating forms (i.e. logged into the site, not WordPress). I can only gain access to the entry window if I login site using another non-Admin username and password. Is this as expected? Does anyone who has admin roles using the site to upload photos for a competition need to access the site using a username and password (and associated email) different from what they use for admin access in WordPress?
