Hi,

It may have a pro version; but I think its pro version just add external storage like dropbox, google drive, etc. The way it saves the file are the same – it saves the whole site (files and database) in zip format, when there is need to restore the site, just upload that zip file to FTP/sFTP server, unzip it, and import database, etc. It is similar to manual restoration of a wp site as I need to update wp-config.php with a new database details, and so on.

I will contact them if they could help me with restoring on a new domain which is very important for testing new features or plugins by duplicating the current website, and restoring it on another domain and test on it.

Thank you for your great support.

I have tried to uninstall and delete that plugins completely, then upload a new folder to the server’s plugins folder, and activated it – still not working.

Because the security of my website is the most importance, I decide to use this plugins: BackUpWordPress which help create scheduled backup files, and if I want to restore the site, I need to do that manually. Well, it works perfectly for the same domain, but for different domain, lots of extra work is required as I need to changed each internal link on the site; and a login redirection no longer work.

I have tried Duplicator Pro, and a few other backup/restore plugins; they dont work too with this Hide My WP plugins!

Hi,

This is what I did based on your advice:

-After importing the whole site successfully, I dont click the link to save Permanent links yet; instead, I renamed Hide My WP to something different so that it is disabled.
-Then I clicked the link of your plugins to log into the new site and save Permanent links twice
-The website is displayed correctly without issues at this stage
-Finally I activated Hide My WP plugins back, but it is redirected to error 404 page and I cannot log into wp admin panel any more; at this stage the website seems to continue to display correctly.

Any advice would be very appreciated.

Hello,

Thank you for updating RM plugins. However, only the first of the two issues raised has been resolved:

1. Subject of the account verification email
2. The string of submission page

That string is: “You have successfully verified your email. Your account is now active. You can login below.”

-it cannot be edited in this file:
/plugins/registrationmagic/includes/class_rm_ui_strings.php

-it cannot be translated using Loco or PO & MO

Therefore the main issue has not been resolved.

Stop playing a game, guy. I did see other customers using your plugins for other languages like Russian, Spanish, etc.

If this is a bug as you mentioned, why those customers can edit some strings to suit their languages. There are two main strings which I believe you have made not editable and translatable:

1. Subject of the account verification email
2. The string of submission page

If I did want to pay extra for your custom work for that email verification URL and text, etc. but your support refuses?

That would be good. But I have own Password Reset template now; and it works perfectly; I can create it for any language with email being sent in any language.

But I may try your new features if they come out.

Very bad plugins as it is stick to redirect to the same page after users submitted their reset buttons. That is drawback of this plugins.

If anyone want to use a custom password reset page, just create a simple template, and you can customise emails sent to users on that template easily. No need to use this plugins which is very LIMITED!

I regret to give 5 stars to this plugins

I have given up this plugins, and develop own Password Reset template instead.

This plugins does not work on my theme. When clicking on Reset Password button, it does not send. I have to give it up, and create my own template.
