Thanks for the suggestion Will. I’ve followed the instructions you’ve kindly provided and have instructed a few helpful website members to report back to me once they’ve attempted to login. I’ll let you know once I have a log of some false positives.
Thanks for the suggestion Peoy!
I think I’ll manually delete the spam registrations for now, but am about to try troubleshooting around the false positives (where legitimate members get denied login access) from using Astounding Spam Prevention, by activating a log file and seeing what happens when legitimate members try logging in.Hopefully S2Member doesn’t get abandoned. So much work went into it, and it does the job so well for so many things.

Actually, in my list of spam-prevention plugins above, there’s probably little reason to look into WP-SpamShield.
The plugin website provided (https://www.redsandmarketing.com/plugins/wp-spamshield/) no longer loads up for me (and this appears to have been the case for at least half a year.

Hi Cristian,
Tks for the follow-up.I had to deactivate all of the plugins that handle spam registrations, and this eventually eliminated the false positives that were preventing legitimate logins.
The conflicting plugins that you may want to test with S2member are:
Astounding Spam Prevention
WP-SpamShield
WP Cerber Security, Antispam & Malware ScanIt’d be fantastic if I could use one of the above as the spam registrations are out of control.
Thanks in advance!
DarrenRolling back the Tablepress plugin to the previous version did the trick!
Tks again Tobias!
Tks for the quick response Tobias.
The plugin was already activated and still is…
The strange thing is that even before the plugin began the incompatibility, there was a warning within my WordPress dashboard saying the following:
Attention: The installed version of WordPress is too old for the TablePress plugin! TablePress requires an up-to-date version! Please update your WordPress installation!

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Country No Longer DisplaysHi Jason,
Tks for the suggestions.1) I’ve clicked the X 5min ago and no new error has popped up yet…
2) The Country data has already been enabled I think…. If I go to Settings > Maintenance, Third Party Libraries, I see the green On button for MaxMind Geolocation.
If I go to Settings > Tracker > Advanced Options, I see that Country selection is already displayed in green.
3) How do I go to the Screen Options drawer?
Cheers,

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Country No Longer DisplaysHi Jason,
Tks for the quick response.I’ve followed your instructions, but to no avail.
If I go to Settings > Maintenance, I see that there’s an error msg:
[April 25, 2019 11:52 pm] 205 Your MaxMind data file is invalid. Please uninstall it using the button in Settings > Maintenance.
So I went to the Third Party Libraries section within that same tab, and clicked off on MaxMind Geolocation, saved changes, then went back to my Slimstats page where the country stats normally show, but they still don’t. Or if I go to the Customize section, I see that Top Countries report is greyed out and can’t be selected.
Looking fwd to any other ideas,
Much appreciated.Darren
Hi Raul,
Tks for the quick response!I’m not sure how to clear the cache at my Linux server level. I use Godaddy and have a Virtual Private Server which I access normally via Cpanel. I’ll look further into this.
In the meantime, I’ve deactivated both Fast Velocity as well as Hummingbird, and have cleared cache w/ both my mobile Chrome and Firefox. Chrome and IE on my desktop interestingly don’t present the same menu issue, so you’re right, this appears to be an issue potentially w/ my theme. I’ve written to my theme developer and will update once I hear back from him.
Tks again,

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Event Permalink Changed After Upgrading PHPTks for the quick reply Franky.
Turns out that after I had saved (the original Permalink structure setting), all event pages were loading fine w/ the original Permalink structure (w/ the event ID embedded within the URL).Much appreciated for all your help and for a great plugin!

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Event Permalink Changed After Upgrading PHPHi Franky,
Thanks for the suggestion. I went to that General permalink setting and pressed save, but there’s no difference in the error msg displaying.Do I have to try changing the Permalink format to something else and then back to the current, preferred setting for the event URLs to display the relevant content? Before I make changes to the Permalink format, I’m cautious as I wouldn’t want to change any non-event existing pages on their URL structure.
Cheers,

In reply to: [Events Made Easy] Event Permalink Changed After Upgrading PHPHi Franky,
Tks for the clarification.
The strange thing is that this error in loading didn’t appear until yesterday.Additionally, whether I use the new slug address or not, I can’t load the event page without the same error.
Tks in advance,
DarrenYou’re right Anton!
It appears the host had cached that file…after doing another Recheck status just now it shows GZIP works now!Tks again,
Darren
