In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Facebook new fbclid argument on all URLs is killing cacheFound this link but you need to be alright about editing your .htaccess file yourself –
mod rewrite to strip any ?fbclid from the url.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Facebook new fbclid argument on all URLs is killing cacheYep, same.
Clicking a link from Facebook, has the fbclid parameter
Takes an age for page to load, think it’s bypassing / killing the cache.
The URL is not cached from what I can see in my cached pages list in WP Super Cache settings.
Just serving an un-cached version of the page.
Hi – thanks for the response –
How do I post the debug info privately to you?
Many thanks,
Similar thing happening to me –
Individual backups of ‘child’ sites on the Network, starting multiple backups instead of just 1.
Mr Plugin Author – Following this for resolutions, let me know if you need any Logs ??
Roger – thanks DNut,
I kinda feel safer having them on the Server also.
Just in case of any issue retrieving backups from Dropbox.
Belt & Bracers ;-). I’ll set a reminder to delete manually.
Thanks for the info, appreciated.
DarrenThanks Ashley – understood about the Dropbox side of things.
I think I may have misunderstood the ‘Delete local backup’ in Expert Settings that reads:
“Check this to delete any superfluous backup files from your server after the backup run finishes (i.e. if you uncheck, then any files despatched remotely will also remain locally, and any files being kept locally will not be subject to the retention limits).”
I understood the text in bold (and any files being kept locally will not be subject to the retention limits) to mean that local backups would remain, according to the retention limits set for Files & DB backups > and then be deleted, keeping X number of backup files on the local server also.
So could I leave them on the server if I unchecked ‘Delete Local Backup’ in Expert Settings?
Is there then a way to apply the retention limits of e.g. ’30 DB backups’ to the server files?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Smart Countdown FX ConflictHi Nick & Alex –
Is it possible that you can setup a page somewhere to show this error off so I can take a look or does it make the countdown stop working even if they aren’t on the same page?
@nick – yes, enabling Simple Calendar Plugin does then break the Smart FX countdown timer – but that’s okay if you need them both active to take a peek. So I’ve enabled the Plugin now anyway so you can take a look – that’s cool.
Thanks for having a look at it ??
I’ll leave it a couple of days if I can for you to have a poke around. Until people start yelling at me again, heh ??

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] Smart Countdown FX ConflictHey Alex – many thanks.
I had to disable simple calendar, because the countdown timer was what was more important for us from an organisational point of view as we are spread over many timezones, so I couldn’t leave it ‘broken’ for you to see sorry.
And I can’t do it on a separate page…. because just enabling simple calendar causes FX not to show.
I’ll take a look in Chrome dev tools & come back to you. AJAX & JS are not my thing, but maybe I can feedback something useful for you.
No stress on time – I can work around it for now – thanks for taking time out when you’re busy to reply ??
