Your solution works perfect, had to add a few style adaptations and its good to go. My test enviroment can be found here if you want to take a look at the over-use of the widgets on page plugin in combo with a heavily customized version of the NightBrand Theme.

Thank you for your fast reply, it works perfectly. Simply added
<?php dynamic_sidebar( ‘my-widget-on-page-x’ ) ?> in in my already heavly customized footer.php and it works, you made me a happy person. Thanks!
