The sidebar wasn’t working prior to that post.

I am unable to find any reference to sidebar2 or sidebar_right or whatever it should be in sidebar.php

I guess this is the problem, but have no idea how to fix it.

Did you find an answer for this as I too need to remove the categories part of the php5 file but cant seem to get it right.

Do you have a copy of the php5 file with the categories removed?

It seems to be the Like/Dislike plugin that caused the problem, after deactivating it corrected itself.

Can anyone tell me how to manually insert comments into the wp db?

As the import wont work I have added the posts from RSS, I am able to cut copy and paste the comments from my Blogger Blog and want to know where to insert them rather than me adding them using my identity – I only have a few to do!

I thought I solved the problem that I posted earlier (that has not appeared on here yet). I had changed the date format in WP from American to UK, I altered this code in one of the files. The system then sent out an email – horray!

I have since posted again – but no email!

Any Ideas?

I have solved the problem above but;

I have recently installed the latest WP and email notification, everything now works ok except that I am not receiving email notification! It appears that it may have something to do with times – nothing is being put in the fufure table though. The box that needs to have yes in it does. My WP Blog is set for UK time and the server is in the US somewhere. I have tried changing the code mentioned before but I am unable to find the exact code that needs to be changed. I have changed a similar piece of code and get an error message so have had to revert back.

I am having a few minor issues with this plugin.

Problem 1

Back link is https:///mydomain.com not https://mydomain.com, where do I go to remove the extra /

Problem 2

The activation link being emailed out is missing the / between https://mydomain.com and maillist

Im sure this is easily solved but I don’t want to make it any worse!

I too am having thjis problem – would it have anything to do with the recent change from blogger to blogger beta (that they are now calling blogger again!)

I have had a reply from 1and1 who have said that I need to go for the business package as the home does not support MySQL databases.

The problem that you have spoken about suggests that maybe it was because they have disabled lots of areas in the 1 click instal.
