Your experience matches my own results from multiple phones, as well as mobile development mode.
This is merely a test website to demonstrate that the dropdown menu is broken. It’s obvious Elementor simply does not care, but I made it so simple for them to see the problem and they still claimed all is well.
I am not sure what else to do, as I merely want the Elementor mobile menu to toggle like every other menu system does from other themes. ??
GitHub agent claimed it’s a cache issue, except this installation does not have any cache. They also claimed it worked fine for them, except I am yet to find a phone where the navigation menu has a working drop-down toggle.
Divi, here I come!
I have reported this weeks ago. They don’t care.
Interestingly, there are NO plugins installed. This is on a clean WordPress install using only the Elementor plugin and the default Hello theme: https://testbed.hotbed.a2hosted.com/
I reported this as a bug, but after eight days they closed it saying the navigation drop-down worked just fine in mobile… yet I have not found a phone yet that it works on.
Google defines a FAQ Page as exactly that: a page. Not pages, and not a parent with child pages. If WordPress is forcing this by referring to a FAQ Page as a collection, then it seems wrongly applied based on Google’s definition.
Google defines a FAQ page as:
A Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) page contains a list of questions and answers pertaining to a particular topic.
https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/faqpage
While I imagine that a parent/child FAQ is good for SEO, it seems counterintuitive for the FAQ Page Schema Type to not work for… a page.
At any rate, thank you for your response. I will change this to article, and mark it resolved.
@jdembowski: At least one of the four complaints you deleted had the same version as I do, and so it was relevant. Deleting all four matching complaints does not help anyone, especially when nobody has done a thing to progress this report towards a solution.

I just created a brand new WordPress website with only the Elementor plugin installed. Unfortunately, Elementor’s Export Kit function is broken from the start.

I am having a similar problem with a new WordPress install using Elementor and the Hello theme. Everything looks good on desktop, but the mobile toggle menu does not expand child menus. Switching to other themes (such as Twenty Twenty) cures the mobile navigation menu problem.
When I go into the theme default kit additional settings, I make “Hello Theme Header & Footer” inactive and the navigation menu responds normally on mobile devices.
The problem is the Elementor Hello Theme.
Changing to any other theme, in my case Twenty Twenty by the WordPress team, fixed all menus to work properly.
