Update: This problem is localized to the Elementor Hello Theme. When I go into the theme default kit additional settings, I make “Hello Theme Header & Footer” inactive and the navigation menu responds normally on mobile devices.

The cost for Event Aggregator is what drove me to look for alternatives. They’ve got a monopoly on the import of calendar data, and could use some competition.

My goal is to import the data from a personal Google calendar, and then allow users to manage the calendar exclusively from WordPress.

It might be better for you to see what your competition is doing (right), rather than mis-quoting me. I suggest starting with WP Table Builder, as it is very user-friendly and feature rich.

Perhaps you misunderstood my easy-to-understand message. WordPress added the Gutenberg editor with their 5.0 update. Since we did not have the option to disable it or try it before enabling, it was forced on us.

Update: so after 4.3.3 was installed last night, I didn’t have another order until this morning. That order looked like this: “Chamber+Chiller+BETA-50+Prototype+Sample.+NO+REFUNDS!”. Oddly enough, an hour later another order for the same thing came in, but this time it looks normal: “Chamber Chiller BETA-50 Prototype Sample. NO REFUNDS!”. Nothing has changed since I installed version 4.3.3 last night, so perhaps something changed at PayPal’s end?

Oops, I spoke too soon.

Received an order this morning, and it’s still adding a ‘+’ symbol between every word in the Item Name field.

EDIT: this is with plugin update 4.3.3 already installed last night.

The problem was that the default php temporary directory (/tmp) was not writable for some reason. Changed permissions, and it works fine now.

So what was the solution?
It’s so disappointing when a users asks a question in public, but does not update with the solution to their problem.

I guess you don’t have much concern for your plugin breaking others.

You also seem to have missed the difference between me wanting to automatically incorporate images into a collection and your suggestion to manually import them.
