Thank you for the information. I’ll note these details.

Although I can’t promise any timeline, we’ll consider this feature for a future release of Dashify. I’ll also notify you here if Dashify gets this feature.

(If you’re wondering why it’s taking a while to get on the roadmap, I’ve been planning to revise our roadmap page on the website, so it’ll appear once I’ve done that. Rest assured your suggestion has been considered.)

    Thank you!

Thank you for providing the example. I understand what you’re looking for and agree that it’s interesting there is no alternative. I’ll add it to our feature requests—it will be shown on our roadmap shortly, which you can keep an eye on to see when it might be released.

Could I ask which information you’d like to show in the table, in addition to the product + image and order status? For example, customer name, order date, etc. I can perhaps make it configurable, but I would like you know what information is most important for you.

    Hi,

That is currently not possible with Dashify. Would you mind describing what you’re looking for some more? Depending on what it is, it might fit within the scope of Dashify and would be pretty quick for us to add.

Specifically, I’m wondering if you’re talking about a widget that simply lists the recent few orders or recent few items bought, or if you’re talking about something like Fomo.

Since it’s been a while, I’ll assume it’s working well and will mark this one as closed.

Please don’t hesitate to open another support thread if you need help with anything else.

    Thanks!

@auditt — a quick update on the plans for styling the whole dashboard. I’ve decided to redesign the rest of the dashboard in the following steps:

    • Add a global WooCommerce search in the top bar of the WordPress admin, and restyle that area of the navigation as needed to fit the search. It will at first search only orders, but will later search across products, settings, etc.
    • Restyle the rest of the navigation, specifically the WordPress admin sidebar. More of the WooCommerce menus will be made more prominent, with the goal of one-click access to the most important areas of WooCommerce.
    • Restyle the remaining pages apart from the orders.

The roadmap on the website will be updated accordingly!

@imedz — I assume that you figured out the issue, but if not, please feel free to open another thread or comment here.

I’ll close this thread for now since the original question has been addressed. Thanks!

Great to hear, and thank you for the review! Much appreciated!

I’ll check out that plugin. It seems like something that would fit well into Dashify.

If you need anything else, don’t hesitate to reach out.

    Have a great day!

    Thanks for the clarification, @pfeild.

The latest update (1.2.7) now shows bulk actions from other plugins. I tested it with PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce, but it should work for any plugin with custom bulk actions.

If a site has many custom bulk actions from a number of plugins, the floating bulk actions may become cluttered in Dashify. I will take this into account in an upcoming design!

Regarding the Pro version, it’s available right now but only adds one small feature. Feel free to keep an eye on getdashify.com/#pro for when more complete WooCommerce admin styling is released!

Let me know if either of those plugins don’t show up as expected after this update—I’ll be happy to make any further adjustments.

Hi—hope you’re doing well. I’ll be marking this closed since we’ve discussed this over email.

To summarize, after hearing your feedback as well as feedback from others, I will prioritize a redesign of the other major areas in the WooCommerce admin. I can’t promise a specific timeline since I want to make sure each area is redesigned to a high degree of quality. But rest assured, it’s underway.

Also, for transparency, the redesign of the other major areas will be part of the Dashify Pro premium plugin.

Hi @pfeild, happy to hear your good thoughts about the plugin.

Just to clarify, there are bulk actions added by other plugins which don’t appear in Dashify’s simplified floating bulk actions, correct?

If so, I should be able to make it compatible this week! Could you let me know which plugins are adding the additional bulk actions? I will try to make it compatible no matter what plugin adds additional bulk actions, but I want to make sure it works well for yours specifically.

If you mean something else by “core bulk actions functionality/menu”, let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate Dashify for it.

Hi @rridder, the release is out, 1.2.5. I adjusted the way Dashify styles the line items, so when using Admin Order Modifier, it does not overflow. Instead, if the table is too large, it scrolls like in regular WooCommerce.

Also, I added styling to the fields that Admin Order Modifier adds to make them more like the others in WooCommerce, which saves a lot of space visually.

I want to add that I used RD Order Modifier for WooCommerce, the free version, to make this adjustment, so if you don’t mind, could you try the updated Dashify and see how it looks now?

Hi @imedz — after installing and activating Dashify, you should see styling changes on the order list and order edit pages only. It will not add anything to the menu. As for other pages, in the future we will redesign those as well, mostly taking inspiration from Shopify to start with.

If those pages look the same, one thing to check would be the Screen Options at the top. After opening it, you’ll want to make sure that “Use Dashify” is checked.

The frontend theme should not affect Dashify.

Let me know if this helped or if you need further clarification.

Thanks for clarifying that, @rridder. I will fix it and release an update tomorrow.

Good point about not slowing down the admin dashboard. Having used WooCommerce a lot, I know how slow it can be. Eventually, one of my goals with Dashify is to make all the WooCommerce pages load faster.

Hi @crispolimited, thank you for letting me know that having similar design on the other screens is important to you—I assume that you mean taking the design inspiration from Shopify.

I’ve taken note of the four pages you mentioned.

This has been requested a couple times, so it’s likely I will do it soon.

I’ll send you an email with a couple other questions, if you don’t mind, as I see you’ve submitted a request to our help desk.

Hey @auditt, here it is! getdashify.com/roadmap

I will update this page regularly with what’s coming up.

I also wanted to add that I have used the Energy+ theme myself, and I really liked how it made the order/product/customer search bar available at all times, and showed pictures of the items in the order list, just to name a few. If you have anything specific from there that you liked, let me know and I could make that functionality available in Dashify faster.

    (@dashify)

    Hi @auditt,

Thank you for the kind words!

Eventually, the goal is to redesign more of the admin to make it ecommerce focused, just like Energy+. Right now, we’re focusing on the orders to get the design right and working well.

Yes, soon we’ll have a roadmap! I’ll share a link to the roadmap tomorrow.

Let me know if you have any other feature requests. I’ll be happy to add them to the roadmap as well.
