Well, fortunately the clients are the ones doing the editing and they’ll be on PCs for the most part. I do have Virtual PC so I could try that just for kicks.

But thanks for everything. I’m no programmer so any advice is extremely beneficial to me.

I’m using a Mac so I guess I’m not getting that quicktags bar at all.

OK, I’ve got the change to my .js but how do I use it in a post?

Well, this is really interesting. Seems that the plugin I was installing, Ultimate Tag Warrior, was affecting every single page in the blog! Nothing would display until I deleted the folder from the site. Now I’m able to activate all the other plugins. Weird!

Let me try to explain it a little better. I know categories cannot have the same ID. What I’m trying to do on many sites you’ll see a URL like this:

https://www.yoursite.com/index.php?cat=10+sub=15

So in this case, it’s loading a template from index.php and then looking for the category number 10 and the sub-category number 15 that is in the main category. This was sub-category 15 can always be the same topic. Let’s say Biography and it stays the same for each of the main categories.

I just figured out where I goofed. Turns out you need to have one post in order to actually display a category. My bad on that one but I never saw that in the instructions.
