yes I already tried the wp customizer and opened the homepage but the pencil icons do not appear on the page so I cannot make the edit to the broken links. I also tried the theme file editor and looked at all the theme files but could not find the homepage links that I want to edit. That is why I asked if there is a way to search for the item I need to make an edit to in the wp dashboard. thanks

thanks..as advised I deleted the snippet variables and manually entered “Associate Creative Director and writer | Samina Dagger” in the title field. ‘home’ is no longer visible in WP edit mode but will have to check to see how it appears in search engine.

I restored a previously saved version of the site so it’s back to how it was before I attempted to remove ‘home’ from the title. the seo title should look like how it was prior to the design upgrade which is: Associate Creative Director and writer | Samina Dagger

I’m using the default ‘edit page’ editor in wordpress .. I don’t see a ‘custom html’ option.. only a css editor below the ‘editing code’ block.

changed the ‘;’ to ‘&’ but getting the same error.. I notice thought ‘amp’ keeps appearing after the ‘&’ after I save the changes..
