Thanks. Those plugins allowed me to setup user approval, though I didn’t receive any ‘new user requested approval’ emails or similar. I guess I just need to find a better plugin. Unless that’s an error on my WordPress setup.

Thanks for the advice. The slider images look better now actually. I think when I deactivated and reactivated the plugin it fixed the problem, but my mobile browser cache must have still had the pixelated image saved as it looked better after I cleared it.

Yes, the theme support eventually fixed it late on Friday.

It’s showing the link when it should be showing the button though (according to the settings) if you have any ideas on that. It’s not a big deal though, I can live with the link if this can’t be changed.

I really don’t want to change themes as I’ve put a lot of work into the site, but equally none of the other ‘add to quote’ plugins I’ve seen or tried offer what I need. So I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place at the minute. I tried contacting the theme support but they didn’t get anywhere. They tried to fob me off with a second rate alternative plugin, claiming they’d fixed it!

What within the theme could be causing the problem? What has been the solution when themes have previously caused conflicts?

The YITH Wishlist plugin worked and other ‘add to quote’ ones have too, but YITH Woocommerce Request a Quote is the only one that does exactly what I need for my client.

If anyone could offer and suggestions I’d be immensely grateful.

I did that and yes, it is the theme. Should I contact them or is there nothing I can do about it really?

I’ve disabled manage stock, so those options aren’t appearing anymore. It says ‘in stock’ for every variation though and it’s still showing as ‘out of stock’ on the actual product page.

We host it ourselves through our business who have a reseller’s account. I’m not particularly clued up on the back end stuff myself though to be honest. Do you know what I might want to be changing/looking at? I changed permissions on most of the folders in wp-admin and wp-content through cPanel earlier and it didn’t fix the problem.

I’ve tried changing pretty much every file and folder to 0754 permissions and it still doesn’t work. The error message I get when trying to install new plugins is this:

‘Installation failed: Could not create directory.’

I’m not aware of any cache plugins – we certainly don’t have any of the ones listed on that page and none with cache in the name. What other type of plugins might cache that I might not be aware of?
