I just read the topic you linked to, and it has the solution.

In the ‘users’ tab, you can edit your profile so it doesn’t use the ‘visual’ editor when writing.

I want this too, and was about to post the same request before reading this. It’s odd, as I have two WordPress blogs (each using an up-to-date version) yet the older of the two has ‘code’ as the default, and there are no issues with embedding YouTube videos, whereas the newer install isn’t the same.

Your blog header is not good for a designer.

Stick to one or two fonts – three at the VERY most. Otherwise it’ll scream amateur.

What difference does changing RSS to Rss make?

Also, if the feeds aren’t for human eyes, should I really have those links on my blog? I’m guessing that anyone interested in receiving feeds will process the link in their own feedreader.

Now, however, my XML file doesn’t have any style associated to it.

Do you know how I can fix this issue so that the RSS feed doesn’t appear as a page full of script?

In the end I imported my posts from scratch as I don’t know where I went wrong, but if you can tell me how to edit the html code for post headers it would be much appreciated.

That’s where the problem way – I don’t know where to edit the header code as I edit my posts through wordpress’s text box.

Thanks KatGirl, I see that now.

However, I’m not sure where to find the file to edit it. I can edit it using the standard wordpress interface but the code starts for that post just after the ‘strong’ tag that I need to remove.
