We add an item as a fee when that item isn’t regularly available in our store – i.e. if it’s just a one-off sale for an item that won’t be sold again in the future.

Otherwise, everything is added as a specific product and we don’t have this problem. Is there a better way to add a one-off line item without categorizing it as a fee?

Thanks for your help. In taking a look at the link provided:

1. Our basic settings match those recommended.
2. We use Akismet plugin.
3. The anti-spam plugin recommended by webvitalii no longer comes recommended.
4. We use Google’s Recaptcha service and WP Forms: Our store registration form uses the former and our contact us form uses both.

Thanks. We have all of our shipping zones and flat rates set up already, but I’m wondering how we can add multiple shipping options (multiple shipping classes) for just a single product.

As an example, if we sell numerous colors of sewing thread with a separate product for each color, we’d like to be able to assign multiple shipping classes (options at checkout) to just black sewing thread.

Please let me know if I’m misunderstanding. Thanks!
