In reply to: [Classic Editor] Incorporate Classic WidgetsIf it’s super simple, that’s even one more reason to merge it in the Classic Editor plugin. As a default on option. I guess lot’s of site owners (5M installs) will be suprised when they enter the new widget area. Nobody can’t deny that working with blocks has it’s (steep) learning curves. So, this is an audience that has zero experience with blocks. An audience of 5 million.
I knew there’s code and the Widget Plugin; but that is just “another plugin”. Even if it’s a few lines of code.
By the way: i LOVE the block editor. I love it big time. But older custom projects who don’t want to switch, or don’t have the budget certainly after corona-times.

In reply to: [Classic Editor] Incorporate Classic WidgetsI have the very same thoughts. This plugin has 5M installs; 5M sites that just don’t want to work with block. Or 5M sites who are just “as it is”; like static sites. I have a bunch of them.
WordPress should respect their choice in that, and when this plugin is installed; every encounter with blocks should be disabled by default. Or have the option to enable it.

I already had contact with sales after requesting a demo.The new checkout feature looks promising, but the documentation around it is spread over multiple support pages.
Would be awesome to have a 20min / 30min screencast video to see multiple possibilities of the new checkout. Anymore: more video-tutorials then now.
Cause i advice Sendcloud multiple times to my customers, but still always struggling with setting it up. And answering questions around SendCloud.
For example: i you use the checkout, where are the prices being set, what about taxes on shippingcosts, …So, the sales agent will contact me soon to plan a meeting. So, i’m very curious.
Quit customer unfriendly for a Premium plugin to just throw in 1 line of changelog text for a seems-like a big feature. Without context…

So, if we delete all the products in the Facebook Catalog and resync them again with WooCommerce. What will happen with the tagged Instagram product posts?
It’s a fashion store, their sales comes mostly via Instagram.
The shop can’t afford to loose all their tagged Instagram post. We’ve had this one when we had to delete and reconnect a new catalog.
But i must have 100% confirmation that deleting and synching products in the same Facebook catalog; it’s not gonna affect the Instagram posts.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Access to some digital products dissapearHi, sorry to bump again. I’ve done another test. I changed the e-mailadres in the order to my own (instead of buyer), regenerated the download rights and the resend the order mail.
I received that mail.
But strange thing is: now i see 3 download links (see: https://share.woofers.be/YEuXLGQb). In the original order i only saw one download link: https://share.woofers.be/geu4nx4rAnd also: in the newly send order mail, i can’t download the digital assets. Get the same notification: invalid download link.
Could this mean that the download files meanwhile are changed by the store owner, although she said it’s not. But i’m starting to doubt that.

Both fields are not filled in.
It’s unlimited and never. Which is like it should be.The order in the dashboard showed no connected products anymore to her profile.
I can’t remember which notification the buyer saw when trying the download-link in the order mail.I saw two different notifications:

Question: when regenerating, is the general download link still valid? I do hope so, the site has hundreds of orders. We can bulk regenerate download links (if it works), but bulk sending out mails is another issue.The particular product has 3 individual downloads.
When i copy the customer download link for a specific download in the admin order, that link is valid.So, yes it’s weird.
The ‘general’ download link in the order mail is not working, but individual links are working okay. But too bad, those individual links can’t be reach by the user.
And to begin with: it’s not clear how the situation was started, the disappearing of digital products in the order.Forum: Plugins
