In reply to: [Debug Bar] Found a warning during activation of the pluginSame issue. When activating debug bar on my localhost sites I get
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.
I am using WordPress 6.4.1. I also noticed the following on the plugin page on www.ads-software.com:
This plugin?hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.
Is there something we should know about?

In reply to: [Passwords Evolved] Fatal error after Jetpack updatehi @ jeherve, I did a grep through some sites and there were no other instances of random_password that I could find.
Thanks @jeherve .. OK it looks like for me the Passwords Evolved plugin is part of the problem. I have replied on a support ticket here but there hasn’t been a response as of yet.
@jeherve note above I have disabled jetpack by moving it to _jetpack. This enables the site to load again.
Thanks @jeherve

| wordpress-seo@jeherve it’s happening on any of my sites that have Passwords Evolved 1.3.0 when trying to update to Jetpack 10.1.
The site completely crashes (I cannot access the dashboard etc) with the critical error I mentioned above when trying to update Jetpack. If I deactivate Jetpack (with Passwords Evolved active) I can get the site back up.

I’m still getting the issue on multiple sites, all are on the same server.
For me, it was the Passwords Evolved plugin causing the issue with latest version of Jetpack:
Fatal error: Uncaught InvalidArgumentException: Container doesn't have a value stored for the "password.generator" key. in ~/public_html/wp-content/plugins/passwords-evolved/src/DependencyInjection/Container.php:94
I am experiencing the same issue, with PHP 7.4.23 & WP 5.8

In reply to: [Classic Editor] Logic bug in Classic Editor 1.0I noticed the “Try Gutenberg” panel too. My thoughts are that if we have explicitly chosen to turn off Gutenberg then this panel probably should not show either. Does this need a new support topic?
