Yea that’s really my question – is there a best practices method for a global content element (video, graphic, text) that can be adjusted in one place and applied across the entire network? I can envision perhaps hardcoding the element into the theme but perhaps there is a plugin or widget that would allow us to accomplish the goal?

No this issue was never resolved! Not even responded to. Very disappointing. Not sure why there is no response

1) Permissions. Yes those boxes on my username are unchecked. Also tried another one of my in house developer users who is admin and she’s got the same settings and no meta boxes.
2) Features Tab. Everything is enabled on this tab.
3) Post Types. Everything is enabled on Post Types except Date in Snippet Preview in each of the sections
4) Screen Options. Everything is checked. Below is copy/paste of all screen options.

Also finished disabling every plugin one at a time and testing. No luck.

FYI your link about in steps 3 and 4 and Github are 404 Page Not Found -looks like an extra ” behind each one. Just fyi.

One more thing – I do notice that the Meta box DOES show up in Posts, just not in Pages.

Godaddy has been having massive problems with their Managed WordPress for going on two weeks now. Latency issues, problems with their upgrade to MySQL 5.6. I’ve called them 41 times now, with much longer hold times than I’ve ever experienced with them. I’ve got dozens of wordpress sites with them and it’s been a nightmare. They are also rolling the Php 5.6 updates so maybe thats part of the reason. I’ve been with them since the 1990s and have never seen this level of catastrophic failure.

I love the plugin and would be more than happy to have the pro one and provide constructive feedback- in a polite way since I think we lose a lot of that in the forums sometimes and part of my hope in the web pro marketing world is to raise the communications standard a little, as much as I have impact at least ?? Thanks for replying Phil. As I read the Schema document you reference, it appears that the type is optional, not mandatory. However, in the plugin, I don’t see a way to leave that option unselected. I don’t read it as being a required value for that corporate contact type. If you could leave it as non-mandatory, that would solve our issues I think. Let me know if I’m missing something or mis-reading the schema requirement.

I use it with Yoast on a number of my sites with no problem at all.

I use it on many sites without any problems with the yoast seo plugin

A plugin conflict does make sense to me. I don’t think it’s the membership plugin because have that same combination of Membership plus Email Users on other sites that seem to work fine. I may be using a different SMTP mailer on the other site, so I wonder if that could be the problem? I’ll start disabling plugins that are different on this site versus the other one that works. Both sites are updated with the latest version of WP and Email Users.

Sorry for not following up. I’m still attempting to figure this out. I did a test with Debug mode on. I thought with Debug mode on, it wouldn’t send emails but my test did go out and we got 6 emails with the test. To answer the questions above –

1 – Each user is in one of three roles. There are no users with multiple roles.
2 – All of the addresses when I look at the Debug results are unique. There are no duplicates.

Is there any incompatibility that you’re aware of with the Membership plugin from WPMUDev or perhaps with the Nav Menu Roles? Can’t think of any others that would interact with user roles. I have three user roles.
