In reply to: Saved post not showing in preview paneI’m posting again on this topic. We are a nonprofit working to fight global poverty via microfinance. We started our blog (https://blog.unitus.com) ~6 months ago, and generally love WordPress, but this Post-Preview bug is really frustrating.
I’ve now disabled/removed all plugins, and we still can’t preview posts when we do a ‘Save and Continue Editing’. It just says “No Posts Match Your Criteria”.
I’ve read through all of the related threads on this board… I’d appreciate some help, if anyone has any ideas.
Thank you,
David

In reply to: Image Upload tool inserts thumbnail size only?aha!
It is an IE issue — with Netscape, it works perfectly.
In fact, the strange thing with IE is that when I click ‘send to editor’, it actually doesn’t put it right up into the post. Rather, it puts in in a little window right above the ‘Upload’ section and then I have to drag the thumbnail sized photo into the maid post editing section. With Netscape, when I click ‘Send to Editor’ it puts the large/original size photo right in the post.
That helps — thank you.

In reply to: Image Upload tool inserts thumbnail size only?Dreamchaser,
My org’s blog is at:
https://blog.unitus.comI’ve been using IE 6.0 and 7.0 (beta) and neither worked. Let me try Netscape quickly — if you want to skype me (daveschappell)

In reply to: Image Upload tool inserts thumbnail size only?Dreamchaser — I really do appreciate all the time you took to make the post.
But, this still doesn’t solve the problem. Because once I send the image to the editor, it is still in Thumbnail size. That’s the problem. I know that I can resize it, or change options in HTML, but that allows for image distortion, and I really want to have it at 450px wide and used my image editor to make that happen.
I’d just like to be able to include the image size that I upload, and I can’t seem to do that.
Very frustrating…

In reply to: Image Upload tool inserts thumbnail size only?I agree — my org is now running 2.0.2 — we take the time to size our photos correctly before uploading, and I’ve wasted a good hour or so figuring out what the problem is. However, this shouldn’t be a problem! If I say ‘Use Original’, then I want it to Use Original.
Is there any way to have this work the way we’re asking? The Upload feature itself is a big improvement over using FTP, but this ‘feature’ is a major drag.
