    Hi,

    Fair enough. Thank you.

    Any news on the potential second issue, re. the other methods showing up when the product qualifies for free shipping? The screenshots should answer most or all of your questions in terms of the setup.

    Best,
    Dave

    Hi,

    It appears to have resolved the first issue! Thank you. Will the Elite plugin be getting an update with the same fix? As yet, the update is not showing up on my client’s website.

    However, I’m not sure whether it should be there at all if “Remove all other shipping classes when free shipping criteria are met (Google Shopping / Facebook only)” is enabled, which it is.

    Could you please look into that, if necessary?

    Thread Starter davethedon

    (@davethedon)

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back to me. It does, but as I said, the actual shipping cost should be 5 + 4.99, just as it would be at checkout (see my screenshots). The shipping class should be a surcharge to the 4.99 base cost of the Flat Rate method. The class is assigned to the Flat Rate method per order, but that shouldn’t even matter.

    As it states:

    Shipping class costs
    These costs can optionally be added based on the product shipping class.

    If you need any further information, please let me know.

    Hi Aleksandar,

    That’s perfect – thank you. In the meantime, I’ve added the argument in our 1.14.3. Will there be any further releases in the 1.14.x cycle prior to 1.15.x?

    Best,
    Dave

    I see what the problem is. It’s because the input radio element specifically is being created and then replaced via AJAX, thus removing its bound events. I’ll work around it using custom Javascript.

    Thanks anyway. ??

    Hi @joostvandevijver,

    Thanks for taking the steps to get this assessed.

    @loano1 March 2022 is the end of the line. I believe it says that on the plugin page in the red notification banner underneath it.

    I believe the former plugin requires API details while the latter requires your PayPal account details. You can just connect the account before putting it live and it should populate the details for you automatically. Then it’s just a matter of disabling the old and enabling the new.

    Looks like it! Thanks, Oscar.

    Nope – it’s not ACF. I found the culprit: Post Types Order.

    Hi Oscar,

    Off the top of my head it could be Advanced Custom Fields. Thanks for looking into it and coming up with a graceful solution.

    Hi @yithemes,

    Upon further testing on a fresh installation of WordPress using StoreFront, the issue doesn’t present itself. However, I previously tried StoreFront on the site I’m currently developing and it was presenting itself, but for some reason, I switched to StoreFront again today and the problem went away until switching back. The theme the dev site going to use is Flatsome, and that’s where the issue does present. So I installed Flatsome (3.13.1) on the fresh WordPress test site, and the issue presented itself then.

    The conclusion is, it is theme related, and something in Flatsome is not playing nice with YITH WooCommerce Wishlist, even though it’s a recommended plugin. At this point it’s difficult to know where the bug is without investigating further…

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting back to me. That’s very strange. I’m not seeing any JS errors in the console at all. See my screenshot.

    I’ll try it on a fresh WP installation and get back to you.

    Hi graficadora,

    If the Cancelled email is enabled, just make sure you’re not removing the action elsewhere (like in your functions.php) or if any plugins are doing it. If you go to /woocommerce/includes/class-wc-emails.php and find the function (on 166 at the time of writing) send_transactional_email, before the call to do_action_ref_array (line 170 at the time of writing), put in the following (crude but effective):

    if ($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] === "your ip address"){
    				echo '<strong>' . current_filter() . '_notification</strong> has action:<br>';
    				var_export(has_action(current_filter() . '_notification'));
    			}

    You can also choose to mail yourself the output instead of echoing it, but restricting it to your IP will mean it won’t affect your customers. You should then trigger a Cancelled email on a test order and you should see the output.

    Best,
    Dave
