Well, probably found the solution on my own. I saved a copy of the index file to be sure, removed the content tag, and added the excerpt tag instead.

Oops, wrong post to wrong thread. But to update this one, turns out to be a permission thing with Jumpline, and a weird one at that.

Anyway, issues resolved.

One option is to log into your server via FTP (filezilla, smartftp, whatever FTP program) and move those plugin folders up a notch. Using Gangleri’s example, move them from public_html/wp-content/plugins/pluginfolder/pluginfolder/plugin.php to like public_html/wp-content/plugins/pluginfolder/plugin.php (without the extra pluginfolder name).

Otherwise, how exactly do you mean by “they unzip differently”?

And once you’re able to resolve that, consider looking at the nifty OneClick plugin. That’ll let you upload any plugin and/or theme into your blog without having to go through FTP. ??

Hmm, thanks. I reinput the same code from that thread I included here, and made sure to avoid the error you mentioned.

Unfortunately it’s still displaying the “Test” post from the Members category. So it’s not achieving what I’m trying to do…yet.

Whoops, I just posted a thread asking exactly about this. And here I go reading this exact thing.

I tried what you posted, tikimaticdotcom. So far it doesn’t seem to indicate which user visited what page, what their IP addy is, etc.

This looks like a job for a dedicated plugin for this purpose.

That error gives me the impression: a) the code or mysql database details aren’t right, or b) something’s wrong with the server hosting the database.
