Ok, thanks, Esmi – I disabled a bunch of plugins and everyone’s now back and able to log in. I was able to re-enable all the old plugins and – so far – everything is still working hunky dory.

Yes, I removed the plugin, and despite using the forgotten password reset and manually changing user passwords via the Admin CP, users still can’t get access.

I’d like to do the same as the OP, and have found the Email Footer settings, but am unsure how to instruct users on how to unsubscribe (i.e. I don’t know how what steps users could perform in order to unsubscribe).

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks for the information. I was unaware it was possible for plugin authors to change the code of installed plugins. Learn something new every day. ??

No need to change your way of fixing things; it’s just interesting to know that it’s possible. (I’m relatively new to WordPress so am still learning how everything works).
