I’m having a similar problem after moving hosts.

I’m not sure if your problem is the same as mine, but I found all of the simple thumbnail galleries seem to have hard-coded absolute URLs in the blog posts. Googling around it appears this is standard practice in wordpress, so it requires a manual update of the database to swap the old domain for the new domain

I’ve been encountering the exact same problem and also suspected wincache as the culprit still happening with the wincache 1.1 release from a few days ago ??
