In reply to: Fatal Error MessageHi again guys.
Sorry I have been dark over the weekend – Family time.
I have reinstalled Salient and WordPress using FTP and now:
– I do not get a fatal error message BUT…..
– When I click Pages —> All Pages I get a complete list (So far so good). However, when I click ‘Edit’ for the page I want to edit, the entire right hand frame goes white instead.ok that happened first time. I tried to edit a different page and got this error after the whole page went white:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1024 bytes) in /home5/dermalsk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer_salient/include/classes/shortcodes/vc-tta-accordion.php on line 421
This is very weird to me. I would have thought a complete ‘reinstall’ for all intents and purposes would have fixed things???

In reply to: Fatal Error MessageHi Rajan and t-p. Thanks for your thoughts.
I renamed the directory and reinstalled Salient and got to the page menu (ie I can see all website pages) but when I click edit I just get an empty white box where the drag & drop options for the page are supposed to live. There is this error at the top of the page:
W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home5/dermalsk/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home5/dermalsk/public_html/wp-content/db.php.W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home5/dermalsk/public_html/wp-content/object-cache.php.
Also, I noticed that some of my plugins are now due an update. I tried to update and get the same error message.
I should also edit that with that folder under it’s origional name, I get exactly the same error – I can see the pages to edit, but get a blank edit box.
Thanks for your ongoing help ??

In reply to: Lost logo – How to reinstate?Ok. I found the logo. It is under “Salient —> Header Navigation”.
The logo is linked and should appear as the theme I am editing is “Salient Child”. If I switch over to “Salient” I loose the phone number below the menu bar (But I did find out how to get rid of the search function).
Still need help with the logo though because as far as I can tell it should be there!
Infuriating!

In reply to: Lost logo – How to reinstate?Hi Johanna,
Thanks for that. I looked there but couldn’t find anything obvious (I did not create the website), but did find that we are using “Salient Child” as a theme, and that if I switch over to “Salient” it appears again. The problem with that is that a ‘search website’ function appears, and we don’t want it active (It appears as a magnifying glass in the top right, at the end of the menu).
I have switched it back off for now and am looking further, but if anybody else has an idea, that would be great!
Thanks ??

In reply to: Site issues after WordPress 4.5 auto-updateThank you. I have raised a ticket with them ?? If you guys have any more ideas, I am willing to give them a go as well. I have re-installed WordPress 4.5 and updated all the sub-programs I have installed too. No joy.

In reply to: Site issues after WordPress 4.5 auto-updateWhen you say raise a ticket, do you mean post as an issue in the themes and templates forum?
Silly question I know, but totally don’t know how to raise a ticket and that is all I can think of what you mean.
Thanks,

Thanks for that.
I managed it in the end, but not exactly the way you suggested. You pointed me in the right direction though!

In reply to: Changing phone number on headerThanks Alexander. I looked in the header for the phone number details and changed it that way. Took a bit of finding, but all worked out ok in the end ??
Thanks again.
