I’m so glad to hear that StageShow is back, Malcolm.

As they say, you only miss it when it’s gone. I was starting to panic as StageShow has been great for us.

I see. I’ve just made the change in settings so that my paypal address is the primary one. I hope that works now.

As a suggestion you might want to fix the typo “paylpal” to “paypal” and perhaps add something to indicate that it’s an issue between stageshow and paypal. It’s taken me a while to figure it out!

I’ve been trying to solve my permission issues for a while now. There’s some kind of issue in the Bitnami EC2 instance of WordPress. I’ve tried to fix it but likely created more issues than I’ve fixed.

In truth, I have no idea what I’m doing.

Yes, a small amount of uncertainty. I’ll keep an eye out for it.

The first code snippet goes in Settings | Advanced | Checkout Note.

The second code snippet goes in a Custom Javascript, which is in Settings | Advanced | Custom Javascript. You’ll need to edit the file. In my case, that’s stored in wp-content/uploads/stageshowplus/js.

That doesn’t seem to fix it. Would it be useful for you to have my WordPress login?

Yes. I tried another SMTP plugin with no luck either, although that didn’t have any logging functionality so I couldn’t see why.

I’m using Amazon’s SES mail system, BTW.

I’ve found a workaround which is to use plain text emails rather than HTML.

Also, I added this to Custom Javascript

Same problem in incognito mode which suggests it’s not cookies.

I switched from dropdown to inputbox to see if that’s helped but I don’t think it has.

I don’t know if our Contact Us is working as I’m replacing the SMTP server function on that site. You can find me using my username plus @exeterstreethall.org at the end.
