Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Archives templateHi there MichaelH! Yes, his archives template is custom; well, pretty much like any archive that comes with themes. I do not think it is a plugin, just a crafty use of what WordPress offers.
Still interested to see if someone could dissect it, as I like not only his archives approach, but the fact that clicking on a post date will take you to the spot on the archives to which the post belongs (on the timeline).

In reply to: Openid problems with WordPress 2,8@brianwhite, could you please zip and upload somewhere the changed files? I would really like to get this working, as it seems the developers are busy working on better and greater things. Thanks!

In reply to: HTML allowed in commentsThanks, Tomdever. I can customize kses.php, but it get overwritten each time there is an update (quite often lately) or WordPress get upgraded. The deprecated my-hacks.php was used in the past to overwrite this. I am amazed –literally– that there are no plugins, nor a built-in way to customize this.

In reply to: Openid problems with WordPress 2,8@factoryjoe: how seeing “this thread” (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/282369) is going to fix anything? They might be some tips there, but for the regular Joe running a WP 2.8, wanting OpenID means nothing.
