I agree that a front-end widget would be very helpful with a means to define (either by user or pre-defined for the user). Would speed time-to-adoption for deployments to larger user base that would see the WordPress interface as a non-standard type of UI.

This ever get resolved for you? This would be a major barrier for my decision to invest time in deploying.

+1 also. Many of us need to work with multiple taxonomies as part of an information query; tags alone will not help our end-users understand how to filter results (and get beyond the limitations of just categories)

I am looking to use this add-in, but am reviewing issues such as the above posted by ArtGoddess. Any response to her last questions in this thread?
