Thanks, I’ve tried that. I removed the emails that were there, and added one email I want the alerts to go to. However the alerts are being sent to two email address still, the one I want them to go to, and the original email.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, but it’s giving the same issue, so I assume the second email is in a db table somewhere.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!

Hi Phil,
Sorry I haven’t responded earlier, I have just sent the details you requested via email.

DavidHi Phil,
Sorry for the delay, things got a bit crazy around Christmas time.
I have sent through the diagnostics report to the email as requested.
Thanks for looking this into me for me.
Cheers,
DavidThanks a lot for your support David, very helpful!
We ended up finding the problem, it was the super admin that needed to update the settings, all the other admins didn’t have high enough permissions.
Thanks again
Thanks for the reply David.
Unfortunately the plugin is on a live site (normal WP not multisite) so I can’t disable the plugins or revert to default theme.
I tried creating a temporary admin but they still don’t have access to the settings.
Is there any way to edit the plugin files to drop a list of profanities straight into the plugin rather than through the settings?
Thanks a lot,
DavidHi Lindsay,
Unfortunately not. There are some other threads on the same thing though if you search around (don’t have the links sorry), but I couldn’t get anything to work and ended up wiping the site out and then cleaning off wordpress completely and restoring.
I’ve just purchased an SSL certificate and static IP from my webhost now which seems to be working without the plugin.
Thanks,
David
