In reply to: [Plugin: Cart66 lite] Checkout form and paypal does not workSafeer,
Were you able to resolve this issue on your site?
This sounds like a Custom Post Type compatibility issue. Cart66 doesn’t support CPT by default, but would require some modifications to your functions.

In reply to: Cart66 Issues – Items Not In CartThis error is usually due to javascript conflicts with a theme or plugin. What’s the URL to your site? I can see if I can pinpoint a problematic plugin or theme from the front end.
Tessa,
I have also tested the checkout process on your site and it’s working; products can be added to the cart and I can click on “Checkout” and am prompted to pay with PayPal.

In reply to: [Cart66 Lite :: WordPress Ecommerce] Cart66 and PayPalAllan,
Do you have any cache plugins installed?

In reply to: Cart66 Lite sales tax issueIf you are using PayPal Standard, taxes are fully handled from within your PayPal account. Cart66 has no control over PPS tax rates. This also means that ALL your products will be taxes; you can’t pick and choose.
If you use any other payment gateway, you can manage tax rates from within Cart66 and you won’t have these issues.

You’re welcome!
1) All you need to use PayPal Standard is your email address associated with your PayPal account. The shopping and return URLs are optional, but very helpful. https://cl.ly/image/0k3M1X2P0U0Y
2) If you have products setup in Cart66’s settings, you can enter them on the post/page with shortcodes using the Cart66 pop-up box in your editing console: https://cl.ly/image/2n1P3S131H2I
3) The [checkout_paypal] shortcode needs to be placed on your Checkout page instead of the current one.
I would recommend also reviewing the documentation which can be found here: https://cart66.com/lite/ (at the bottom of the page.)
I would suggest changing the URL in your local WP installation to use https://127.0.0.1/wpsite instead of just https://wpsite
Cart66 Lite does work with PayPal Standard.
You need to change the checkout shortcode on your checkout page to: [checkout_paypal] (default is for PayPal Express.)

Off hand, I don’t have any suggestions. I would need to take a look at your site and Cart66 installation to troubleshoot.

It could be a number of reasons. Have you checked the permissions for the “uploads” folder? Make sure it is 755 or 777 (whichever works).
I’m afraid I won’t be able to get past that hurdle without direct access to the site. So, if you still can’t make it work, feel free to contact me via my website.
