actually, having investigated further, I think its not that I can’t execute the .php, but that I can’t access the directory that the .php file is in. For example, WP is installed in my root directory, and I can access the pages fine. I put the installer.php and the package in /wp, but when i browse to the /wp directory, I get
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp/ on this server.
Any suggestion on how to make these sub directories accessible, or how to keep the root directory visible once I delete the WP files?
