Do you mean I just install wp-site in the bare domain, then create sub1.domain.com, and sub2.domain.com and use the wp-site located in domain.com as a base, rather using the other html?

I would like to set this up in the way I described, the main reason is that some post are sharing content across sites. So, after you told me the reality…now I try to be creative here. Please let me know what do you think my idea:

What if I set up the all 3 sites direct point to its sub-domain, which they all live in their own folder (in terms of file structure). In this way, it allows me to have index.html static page. Then, the next step is to find a way to make all 3 sites consume the same database for the content.

Do you know does this idea can work out?

Thanks for response. I think I kinda get what you are explaining here. So I guess if I use wp multisite, there is no easy way to let me assign subdomain direct to a bare domain unless the initial wp site is installed on bare domain. Am I correct?

I was trying to use get_the_terms but it didn’t work and I figure out actually I should use <?php the_meta(); ?>. Now the challenge is style them correctly.

Instead of the date that publish the content, I have custom taxonomy “published date” and other attributes. I want to display those. How can I get those echo out?

Thanks for answering. I tried to rename .htaccess to .htaccess_old, the site works in sudden, but all plugins became inactive. I was shocking because there are so many content leverages the functionalities of plugins. Once I reacitve plugins, the content is still there….thanks God.

Changed the Permalink settings to default make the form works. However, for some sections, I would like to use post name in the url tho. Is that possible?
