Thank you for the information. Based on that I exported the users from Subscribe2 and imported them into the WordPress User database and it appears to be working.
That said, I have another site with a similar issue except this site has the users going into Mailchimp. Is there a way to have BNFW see those users to send notifications?
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Large File WarningThe file appears to be a backup of my media and is not critical. I will exclude.
Thanks for your help.
Chris:
Thank you for your quick response and my bad. In going back to check, I discovered that the plugin was not activated. I also have the Google Site Kit plugin running and suspect your plugin was deactivated when that was installed.
I have activated the plugin and reauthorized it with my Google Analytics account. You said my tag would be automatically updated but I’m wondering if there is anything else I need to do? Also, is it OK to run your plugin with the Google Site Kit plugin?
Thanks for all your help.

David
After further research and testing I determined that in fact, the plug-in is sending the emails and working as intended. The problem appears to be how Google interprets the message and is sending them all to the Junk folder. This is a new behavior as the messages used to come through. If you have any ideas on how to correct this I would appreciate your thoughts. In an case, I will mark this issue as rersolved since the plug-in is working correctly.
Thanks for the great support.
Thank you for your prompt response.
I have tried the three suggestions you provided and it has not fixed the issue. After making a new post, the emails still did not go out. In fact, now, I cannot even get a manual email to be delivered, even though the plug-in says the message was sent.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you.

We did speak with our hosting company. They confirmed there was no firewall in place and spent some time troubleshooting with me. Although they were able to recreate the error, they could not resolve the issue.
As a last resort, have have replaced the Apple AirPort Extreme router with a D-Link router and that has apparently cleared the issue. The backups are once again working.
I am still testing some of the sites to ensure the rotation is working correctly but at this point, I expect they are.
I still don’t understand why the old router suddenly stopped working but at this point there seems little reason to research it further.
Thank you for all your help on this matter. I will mark it as resolved.

David

I am making some progress but could still use your help.
I have modified some settings on my router and server and can now connect from the Updraft plugin to my server via ftp, but am now getting this error message;
FTP settings test result: Failure: we successfully logged in, but were not able to create a file in the given directory.
Messages:
* PHP event: code E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput(): php_connect_nonb() failed: Operation now in progress (115) (line 93, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/ftp.class.php)
* PHP event code E_WARNING: ftp_nb_fput(): Type set to l. (line 93, wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/includes/ftp.class.php)I have verified that the user credentials have read/write access to the directory on the server.
Can you help me understand what these mean and what the next steps are to get this working?
Regards,
David

I have updated Updraft to the latest version and still have the issue.
I am still searching for the large file you suggested I exclude. That said, I have taken the liberty of submitting 2 log files. These are from 2 different sites that use Updraft, and use the same web host service. Both have worked perfectly in the past and suddenly stopped uploading the backup files to my server via FTP at the same time. Perhaps looking for some commonality between the two logs will be helpful.
I have also included a screen shot of the error message I am getting in hopes it may help.

Thanks for your continued support. I will follow your instructions and exclude the large file but I do not think that will resolve my issue.
In checking the backup on my web host server, I can confirm that the backups are all completing correctly. Even with the large file.
Where the job fails us when Updraft tries to ftp the files onto my private server.
As I said in my original post, this has been working well for weeks and suddenly stopped last week. I can successfully connect to my server and to the web host server using FileZilla, but Updraft says it cannot connect when I try to test the connection. I have verified all of the credentials as being valid.
Thoughts?

David

Thanks for your response. You may download the latest log (from yesterday) which produced the same error message from this link.

I assume you are asking for a screenshot of the Cron screen I mentioned above but I don’t see a way to attach a file to this thread. Is there another way to send it to you?
I installed the plugin you suggested but I’m not sure what I am looking at. There are several entries with yellow bars next to it and the actions column lists None. There is also one entry with a red bar next to it.
There appears to be one entry for the WPvivid plug in which shows the following:
(it is all on one line)
Hook: WPvivid_task_monitor
Augment: [“WPvivid-5f4d8f01a022a”]
Next Run: 2020-09-01 12:24:51 1 minute 8 seconds
Action: WPvivid-task_monitor()
Recurrence: Non-repeatingI’m not sure what this means or if this normal.
Thank you for your prompt response.
I’m afraid I need a little guidance regarding your suggestion. Although I have heard the term WP Cron, I am not sure what it is or how to check it. Can you tell me what I need to do and exactly what I am looking for?

David
