Regarding the page you mentioned, https://www.nickortizlaw.com/disabling-conditions-ssd/malignant-neoplastic-diseases-and-ssd/, the page title and slug are different due to the firm changing the page title, but not wanting to change the slug/create a redirect. All page titles and slugs are managed through WordPress, with the LeadPages pages being the only exception.
The Leadpages pages are created and given a title on my.leadpages.net, then they are added to WordPress with the Leadpages plugin. When setting up the page on WordPress/within the Leadpages plugin, there isn’t a page title field at all, and it seems WordPress isn’t recognizing the title set on my.leadpages.net.
We don’t use any secondary titles, and the page title appears in the search results for most of our pages. For example, the page title on https://www.nickortizlaw.com/disabling-conditions-ssd/malignant-neoplastic-diseases-and-ssd/ is the same title that appears in the search results when we search for the term “cancer”. The only pages that appear incorrectly are the LeadPages landing page.
Thanks for your response and recommendation.
