In reply to: Not all emails are coming throughThanks for your reply.
Ideally this is how I want to do it, but when I asked our tech support a while back about using smtp, his reply was that it was not set up to be used on our Exchange. I have requested this again but still waiting for a reply.
This is why I am wondering if I can use an email set up specifically for the smtp details from our web host but not have to have access to it for messages, etc. Hope that makes sense.
I did not consider this to be a Gravity Forms problem to be honest hence why I’ve posted in the forum rather than contacting GF support. I just mentioned what I was using for the forms for information. I thought it was a WordPress sending emails problem.

Perfect! Thanks for your help.
Thank you for your reply.
The problem seems to be resolved and it was due to problems with our email and filtering as you suggested.

In reply to: Blank screen on all pagesStart by deactivating plugins to see if that is where your problem is. There may be a clash somewhere.

In reply to: Chinese characters showing on pages and postsThanks for all your replies. The problem turned out to be down to the site being hacked and some spam ad copy being added before the Doctype hence it wasn’t reading it properly. I think this was due to permissions on a form plugin files not being set correctly when I had recently moved hosts.
Once again, many thanks for your help.

In reply to: Chinese characters showing on pages and postsUPDATE: I have just checked the encoding through page info in Firefox and the encoding is set to ‘gbk’ and not UTF-8. Anyone know how/where I can change this?
Well that is typical, I’ve spent some time trying to fix this prior to posting and as soon I post I manage to resolve the issue! It was due to the Events Page Grouping setting that was set to Monthly. I set it to None and it now works as it should.

here is my link
The theme was a custom theme that I have inherited and did not originally have a blog site as it was being use as a cms for content. The original person who created it is not contactable.
I am definitely calling the author as seen in the code below. This is the same code I am using on the single page template for the posts where the correct information is being displayed.
<small>by <?php the_author(); ?> - <?php the_time('l, F jS, Y') ?></small>
WordPress version: 3.7.1
How can I delete the URL from my original post? Thankyou
Thanks for your help agelonwl.
I thought I had installed the latest version of Events Manager when I hadn’t. Fortunately after updating, it all now works as it should do.
Yes I’ve double checked and they are in place.
I’ve deactivated all other plugins and have the same results. I’ve also checked my template pages and there isn’t anything in there to add the extra
tags. As I have said I have also tested in 2011 theme also.I now have a test site up remotely at: https://s232590247.websitehome.co.uk/academy_redesign/
I’ve also set up an ordinary page too in case it is anything to do with the plugins used on the home page. It can be viewed here:
https://s232590247.websitehome.co.uk/academy_redesign/list-test-2Is there any events manager template anywhere that governs the output?
Hi Marcus,
Yes I’ve tried that and it hasn’t made any difference. Any further ideas?
Thanks aglonwl, but it isn’t my theme, I’ve tested in 2011 with the same results. It also doesn’t work by adding the [raw] tags.
Can this please be unflagged as resolved please?
