I figured this out. Since nobody tried to help in 22 hours I don’t feel compelled to share the solution. I think these forums are dead. Unfortunate.

Brook, this is a problem with your plugin, and it has something to do with the way it handles permalinks. You can do a vanilla instal, with no other plugins, and if you change the default permalink settings in WordPress your plugin will get an error 404 when trying to view a single event post / page.

Exact same issue here. If permalinks are change to anything other than the default permalink settings in WordPress admin, an individual event page will result in an error 404.
