Hi There, I am having the same problem as Greg

Hostgator notified me that my site was to big (I have 3 small sites)
I found several backups in 3 places!

Looking into it further, It seems every time I update the schedule it just adds it but doesn’t delete the previous one.
Any suggestions? Would manual be better?

I was a bit disillusioned and thought that free themes were not a viable option, just a beginning phase..

Thank you for your response. I am so new, I was looking for an easy solution. I tried child themes on weaver and couldn’t figure it out.

The free themes that I liked, several of them, have not been updated in 2 years.

I am using one now that hasn’t been updated in a year and a half.

And changing to atahualupa occurred because a theme I was using broke because it hasn’t been updated in almost 3 years.

So it seemed that the free themes arent such a good idea—-or it just could be BAD LUCK—-if you believe in that sort of thing.

I understand the difficulty with the header. I am the same about that kind of complexity.

I went to Odesk and had someone put it in (Alfryngel Beltran) (he designed it too). He was great and very talented.

The nice thing about this theme is, when you get the hang of it, is that the author cares about it and updates it regularly.

Most of the free themes are wayyyy outdated and are abandoned.
I just had one break –It was an awesome theme too. SO sad (garland revisited)

You can change the size of the header (better to have someone do that) , the background color in the sidebars and the center. You can also have 2 or three sidebars and it has a footer widget.

One problem. I just inserted the update and lost my header and footer. But Alfryngel fixed it in a flash.

I am not trying to talk you into anything, but this author is one of the few that cares. Premium are probably the best, but I am still a newbie, so I dont know the difference yet!

I don’t know anything about the things you mentioned but I am trying to learn more about them.

This sounds like a great plugin for the technical minded. But for the rest of us, if something goes wrong, we are alone. No support for free plugins.
