In reply to: [WP Media folders] Error: File is not int the upload folderI was checking the code and, yes it’s not related to Windows separator.
In this case the path may be the issue.
And if the upload_url_path option was not set, it could be a problem. If WordPress doesn’t use a default value when the code retrieves the upload folder.
But I don’t know why it wouldn’t be defined though. The code retrieve the upload path via the WordPress function wp_upload_dir().
This should be defined correctly be default. Please let me know what you find, I would be pleased to integrate any fix if needed for a next version.
But to be honest, I won’t have time this week to build another test site with a non standard WordPress install I don’t know at all to make debug.Best regards

In reply to: [WP Media folders] Batch uploading – very needs custom path!!!Yes it will move each file one by one asynchronously.
Maybe it’s possible to re-make your plugin to work with WP Media Folder on files uploading by method (b) – directly-instantly upload new media files to a needed custom physical folders? :\
WordPress is not designed to do what this plugins tries to achieve, there is a lot of coding restrictions coming from that.
That’s already something I tried to do but I didn’t succeed to find a way to do it.Best regards

In reply to: [WP Media folders] Media Folders not working after last updateIf you have uninstalled WP Media Folder from Joomunited this is the normal behavior. The functionality you want (virtual folders in your media library) is a feature of Joomunited’s plugin not mine.
My plugin only reflect the virtual folders created with Joomunite’s plugin in your ftp folders as real folders.
If you don’t want to use Joomunited’s plugin you won’t have the folder feature in the media view, you will be able to change path for each file like here

In reply to: [WP Media folders] Error: File is not int the upload folderHi,
Well, frankly I have never tested the plugin with a non default upload folder, but as I use core WordPress functions to get the file path, it should work.
The thing I suspect is because of your Windows environment, system path separators are \ instead of / in linux env.
Unfortunately I don’t have a Windows computer available to test.I will check the code and give you an update on it as soon as possible.

In reply to: [WP Media folders] Media Folders not working after last updateHi,
I’m sorry but I’m not sure to understand what you mean by “back to normal WordPress library”
My plugin only add a “file path” text input to change the actual file path like in this picture https://ps.w.org/wp-media-folders/assets/screenshot-1.png?rev=1954939″ rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>ImageIf you are talking about the folders in the media library like in this picture Image, it’s not handled by my plugin but by Joomunited’s plugin called WP Media Folder (wihtout the s)
If you want to rollback to the previous version, this plugins works well for that: WP Rollback plugin

In reply to: [WP Media folders] Batch uploading – very needs custom path!!!Answer a
WordPress uploads the file to the original folder.
Then WP Media Folder from Joomunited apply the virtual folder to the files.
And finally my plugin will move the files automatically from the original WP folder to the an actual folder based on the virtual one.Best regards,

In reply to: [WP Media folders] Batch uploading – very needs custom path!!!Hi,
Maybe we don’t see the same way your question.
Also as my plugin is not coded nor supported by Joomunited, they may not know all the things you can do with it.a) Have possibility to set a new custom “physical’ path as “/Upload/Hotels/” for all files at once for a batch media files uploading?
Not exactly you can’t do that for all files, but with WP Media Folder you can upload files to a virtual folder, which will be reflected by my plugin as real folders.
In this case you create the folder “uploads” and the subfolder “hotels” and upload the files into this folder.b) After all media was upload, does your plugin gives possibility at media gallery to select many media files and change their “physical’ path for example form “/Upload/Hotels/” to “/Upload/Motels/”?
You just need to rename the Hotels forder to Motels and your files will be moved.
You can also drag and drop your files from the Hotels folder to the Motels folder.Attached a screenshot of the process Screenshot

In reply to: [WP Media folders] Batch uploading – very needs custom path!!!Hi,
I totally understand what you’re asking.
This plugin has an integration with Joomunited’s WP Media Folder plugin.
Which once installed does exactly what you need.No need to reinvent the wheel, when a plugin already do this (even if it’s a paid plugin) ??

In reply to: [WP Media folders] Queue never executingGot it.
Your website is password protected.
Because of that the query made by the plugin fails, as the plugin doesn’t know the password. The best way to fix it is to allow local connection without password.
You can contact WP Engine support and ask them, they surely can help about that.
They can provide a better answer than me based on your server stack. Please let me know if they’ve been able to help.
