@wfpeter Can the notice be disabled if we don’t want to integrate? I keep closing it, but it comes back every time I log in.

We do have the Ocean Extra plugin installed & active. Do we need to use the premium version of the theme?

I know that there is a difference between playing locally vs. online. I have also seen videos that were uploaded (playing prior to upload) somehow getting corrupted, and after downloading to test they don’t play. I put this piece in as it was part of the troubleshooting I went through.

The problem is that the videos ARE in the right format, but not working in your plugin.

Is there a previous version of your plugin available, and does it work with WP 3.5?

I’m having a problem where there is audio only but no video. I’ve tried with both .m4v & .mp4

Both videos were tested on my local computer & video works. I downloaded the file from the server to check if it was somehow corrupted, but it worked fine.

1st, you don’t need to have Dreamweaver to fix the problem. You can do it with Notepad.

You’ll find the file that needs changing in the path that @thedrewseum provided.

I fixed it by commenting out all the lines (even if they were repeats) that have been mentioned in the above post & then tweaking with the NextGen gallery settings.

To get to the file mentioned you need to FTP into your site using an FTP program like FireFTP (a free extension available for Firefox). Download the file to your desktop, make the changes, & just for safety sake in case you make a mistake, make a copy of the original file on the server before you upload the original one.

If you’re not comfortable mucking with code — because in this case you’re looking at coding beyond basic html & a single quote mark or semi-colon makes or breaks it ?? — find someone who is comfortable with it & have them make the changes.
