Fine work Hinjiriyo, I thank you for this great plugin.

To add just a note because it’s relevant to this support thread, we do also publish using forms for logged in users from the front end (Gravity Forms). This always works exactly as expected that GF image upload to post is to be featured image (if image exists), if no image (in the past) there would be no featured image.

So, I installed your plugin and set 2 alternate images for 2 categories, very straight forward. Now, when a user publishes a new post it does not grab the image, but if I open the post and just re-save it, (without touching or changing anything), the correct (quick featured image) is applied.

Maybe this is just me having your plugin configured wrong. I have the lower radio button picked, and the checkbox on the right side ticked with the two images assigned and saved in the 2 rules below the options.

If I am doing this wrong, please advise. If it is something else I will provide more detail as necessary. It’s possible that roles may be an issue but has not affected posting via GF as noted above.

@michael – I see fundamentally how to do this using the ngx_http_auth_basic_module… but I don’t quite understand how to pass a title as you mentioned. Is this what you have done on a set up like mine (Nginx)?

Thanks very much for the info.

I’m using Nginx directives rather than .htaccess based on my setup.

The problem here is anything in the .conf files are going to affect all sites on this machine and I have admins & editors in different countries using IP addresses that will end up changing etc etc.

I think the best route for me is to limit connections like this that flood the login page.

So, Quick Cache works fine with Nginx and my set up, but zlib compression does not with Quick Cache/Nginx. I reverted Zlib to OFF and updates to the WP core and plugins is seamless, /wp-content/cache is updating the qc files properly and all is good.

Anyway, probably has to do more with apc. Testing with apc.stat=1 at this point.

Fresh install and also bought Pro. Only double carriage returns produce line breaks still. The link for support on the sales page only goes to your wpStoreCart page. I can’t suggest to my customers that they have to do this.

If I do a double carriage return they show up.
