This plugin is incredibly easy to use.

This issue is resolved now. Firstly, I repaired the table in phpmyadmin in case there was an issue with the the table. Next I checked PHP versions and found that source site was 8.1 and destination site was 8.2. I changed the destination site to 8.1, activated several extensions and increased limits on several PHP options settings and migration completed without any further issues.

Thanks for your support and comments which I passed on to the web hosting technician. It prompted them to delve deeper and fix the issue. The response when I enquired what they had done to fix it was “I added the absolute path for ghost script under the advanced setting and then I also had to enabled exec for PHP-FPM, which is needed for Ghost Script to function.” Just wanted to let you know the outcome and thank you again for your help. I tried deleting DG plugin and reinstalling but this just made me lose all the thumbnail images I had which now appear as icons :/
