  • I’m having trouble on this issue with both WordPress 2.3 and WordPress 2.5 now. I tried the htaccess trick but my upload limit is still 2MB; I have a 2.7MB file I’m trying to transfer from one domain to another. Any help? Is this some kind of limit set by the host, or is there anther file in WordPress that’s setting this limit?

HandySolo – I apologize for not finding that earlier, I *did* try searching.

But that’s all in the past now – that fixed the problem. Thank you – *thank you.*

Yea, from a designer, colors like that bright red are just a little too loud. The banner image is almost vibrating off my display, and it’s painful to look at.

Your color palette overall isn’t quite there. The bright red doesn’t really match with the page tab colors, and neither go well with the blue you chose for post titles. The fourth color you chose for navigation on the right also doesn’t play well with the others, and it doesn’t sit on top of white very well by itself; it’s too light.

Update: I cleared the cache in my browser (Safari) and tried logging in and got in just fine. I went to edit a post, and once i tried to save the changes I received that error again. I’m starting to wonder if maybe something went wrong with my user name in the database?

I followed the instructions to the letter, and the upgrade worked just fine for a while, but just today I started getting this error when trying to log into the dashboard:

“Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Request header field is missing colon separator.

    { return Object.extend.apply(this; wordpressuser_f2b477e21f07a8df743348579280dbb9=dcharti; wordpresspass_f2b477e21f07a8df743348579280dbb9=a87de363b83855194dcbb5d732a28c08″

I’m new to some of this database stuff so forgive me, but: I used phpMyAdmin to check my database and found some kind of warning on my options table, something along the lines of “2 clients are either logged in or not finished” or something like that. I ran a repair on the database and the error disappeared.

My blog is still accessible: https://www.the1degree.com/blog/ but I still can’t log in or get to the system. I can even post using an external client, like my Dashboard widget.. this is really confusing. I’ve already tried replacing all the files (besides my config and content folders). Any thoughts are much appreciated!

Something very strange: all the images in the directory, including the ones that accompany the installation process as well as theme screenshots, don’t show up during the install process or when browsing the admin pages. I’m using Safari and Firefox on OS X, and their activity monitors tell me the images are “forbidden.” Is there some kind of permissions issue going on with the latest beta download? I’ve tried playing around with permissions on a few directories and files, but I can’t seem to fix the issue. Any thoughts are appreciated!
